The IEA provides many opportunities to be a part of public education in Illinois by participating in the critical events of our day. The title of the SLA, Investing in Excellence, highlights the focus of the Association at a time when school funding is important to all of us in Illinois. With the IEA, you can assume a leadership position in shaping public education. The SLA offers training to enhance your skills in association leadership, in the classroom, on the job, and in political decision-making circles, among others. Whatever your interests, come to the SLA. Be a part of the proud history and the promising future of public education.

CPDU/PTP Opportunities

Help meet your requirements by earning Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDU) or Professional Training Points (PTP) for many of our electives.  Certificates of completion will be given after each eligible elective.

Classroom Makeover

Saturn and Staples in conjunction with the IEA will be conducting a drawing for a $500 Classroom Makeover. Simply visit the Saturn and Staples booth at the conference center and sign up to win!  You must be present at 11:00 am on Friday, July 27, 2007.
