Region 12 is located in the west-central section of Illinois--west of Springfield and east of the Mississippi River; from Waverly to Nauvoo and Illini Central to the newly consolidated district of Western, which has schools in Hull, Kinderhook and Barry.  Our office is located at 116 West Lafayette Street in Rushville.  We have school districts/locals that are in several counties including:  Morgan, Cass, Brown, Schuyler, Pike, Adams, McDonough, Scott, Fulton, Hancock and Mason.

 

Region 12 also has a Service Area as part of the way in which we service our teacher and ESP members in west-central Illinois.  The West Central Retired Chapter has recently been organized in Region 12.  Our retired school employees are encouraged to join our retired chapter in order to remain involved with the IEA-NEA.

 

We service locals in 29 districts and also have a special education coop that provides services for several of our districts.
