For the 2007-2008 membership year, cards for current members will be printed the weeks of September 24 and October 1. Cards are mailed to the President of each local. The local Presidents are then expected to promptly distribute the cards to their members.
Cards for new members
are printed every two weeks after the initial mailing goes out. For the computer system to print a card for a new member, that person’s IEA enrollment form must be processed by the local Membership Chair, mailed to the IEA’s Membership Processing Department, and entered into the system. During the peak enrollment season (September-December), this process can take up to 60-90 days.
If you are a current member and you do not receive your card by the end of October, you should contact your local President to see if the cards have been distributed. If they have all been distributed and you did not receive one, contact Membership Processing at 800/252-8076 and a duplicate will be printed and mailed to you.
If you are a new member and you do not receive your membership card within ninety days of the date that you sign your enrollment form, you should contact your local Membership Chair to verify that your form has been mailed to IEA. If the form has been mailed, contact Membership Processing as discussed above.
