Member Login Help

The IEA Website Member Login and New User Registration Form require you to have Cookies enabled. Having cookies enabled will allow you to view Members Only pages.

When entering your username and password and clicking the "Login" button you will either get the homepage or a page you selected. A "log Out" link will appear in the quick links bar, right about the login box. If you have entered the wrong username and password, you will get an "invalid" login message in the Member Login box. If nothing happens and you are brought back to the homepage, with the Member Login box, then you do not have cookies enabled. If do not have cookies enabled, please read the following.

What are cookies?

Cookies are little pieces of data that can be stored on your web browser. Cookies are usually set by applications that are running on a web site you visit. The most common use of cookies are for visitor tracking, and limited customization.

Are cookies a security threat?

No, cookies cannot access your system or retrieve information that isn't already broadcast by your web browser. Cookies cannot access your harddrive or send information about your computer system. Cookies are just simply a data storage system.

How to Enable Cookies

Internet Explorer 6.x

• Select "Tools | Internet Options..." from the main menu.
• Change to the "Privacy" tab
• Click "Default Level."
• Click "OK"

Internet Explorer 5.x

• Select "Tools | Internet Options..." from the main menu.
• Change to the "Security" tab
• Click "Custom Level..."
• Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
• Set "Allow cookie that are stored on your computer" to "Enable" Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable"
• Click "OK"

Internet Explorer 4.x

• Select "View | Internet Options..." from the main menu.
• Change to the "Security" tab.
• Select "Custom" and click "Settings..."
• Scroll down to the "Security" section.
• Select "Always accept cookies"
• Click "OK"

Netscape Communicator 7.x

• Select "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu.
• Select "Privacy and Security Arrow, then Cookies"
• Select "Enable all cookies"
• Click "OK"

Netscape Communicator 6.x

• Select "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu.
• Select "Privacy and Security Arrow, then Cookies"
• Select "Enable all cookies"
• Click "OK"

Netscape Communicator 4.x

• Select "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu.
• Click "Advanced"
• Select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server"
• Click "OK"

Netscape Navigator 3.x

• Select "Options | Network Preferences..." from the main menu.
• Change to the "Protocols" tab.
• Navigator 3.x does not have an option to completely disable accepting cookies.
• To get a prompt: Check "Accepting a Cookie" under "Show an Alert Before"
• Click "OK"
