The MEEA is a local affiliiate of the Illinois Education Association and the National Education Association, representing the teachers, social workers, and school nurse(s) employed by Morris Elementary School District 54.

The GCEA is waiting for recognition by the Illinois Education Labor Relations Board.

The GCEA represents all certified teachers and speech/language pathologists

employed by the GCSEC.
