IMRF Elections
You will be recieving a letter from IMRF that has 2 ballots in them for Employee Trustee. The ballots are just on paper and you can miss them very easily. Region 63 (DUEA included) is endorsing Max Bockmann for the one year term and Natalie Copper for the 5 year term.
Timesheets-
If employees do any work that goes on a timesheet, they must turn in timesheet as quickly as possible. Timesheets must be submitted to payroll within the same pay period as the work preformed to prevent delay in pay.
Live Checks
Currently 156 DUEA members receive live checks on payday. The district is again urging employees to consider direct deposit. This insures that your pay is never late due to mail service. Also, everyone who does get a live check needs to know that for every check that is cashed early (sometimes checks come in the mail a day or two early) the district is charged $25 per check. This is wasted dollars! If you do get your check early please don't attempt to cash it until payday.

DUEA WEAR
DUEA now has t-shirts and polo shirts. Every Wednesday we would like you to wear the DUEA wear to show support for DUEA. Please contact www.eileenochoa.u-46.org to order one today.

WANTED
HR is looking for paraeducator subs. If you know of anyone who has 30 college credit hours or has passed the ETS test and doesn't want a full time job but would like to work on their schedule, have them contact HR.
