Dear Members:
At the Roundtable Meeting it was requested that all employees follow the ‘Chain of Command’ when addressing a building problem. Also, that we be specific in what our needs are in that building. For example, if we tell the administrator that we are having problems printing or making copies then these are very broad statements. We need to be specific: there are no printing capabilities available to us anywhere on that floor, the copy machines do not work properly, or I am not trained to operate that equipment. These statements are specific and clearly outline the problem.
If you are still having problems that do not seem to be addressed, then send another email request to your building administrator and your building representative.
The AEA, Administration, and the Board of Education are in agreement that by following the ‘Chain of Command’ and utilizing detailed communication we will be able to resolve many of our building needs and problems.
Sincerely,
Brenda L. Powers
