 Where we are..... 

 

     Our chapter, established about a decade ago, is geographically large.  It runs from the Mississippi River on the west to the Vandalia area on the east and from the Carlinville/Litchfield area in the north to Chester in the south.  It includes all or parts of twelve counties, representing IEA Regions 4,5,6, and 45.  We have approximately 450 members.   

 

 Where and when we meet.....

 

      The Southwestern Chapter meetings are held at the Edwardsville IEA Regional Office, 1012 Plummer Drive, Suite 400 in the Prudential Building, usually on the third Tuesday of September, November, January, March, and May.  Our luncheon meetings are held from 11:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m.(approx.). 

 

 

 Our chapter supports itself with an annual assessment of $10.00 from its members.  The assessment covers the meeting expense costs and postage.  Lunch is normally provided at meetings, usually at $5.00 per person. 

 

 

Our newsletter, The Sou'Wester, is mailed to ALL members in September.  Other issues throughout the year are sent to only those members who have paid the annual $10.00 assessment.   E-mail is a means of easy communication within the chapter.  Currently we have almost 200 in our email address book.  Any e-mail address changes or additional e-mail addresses should be reported to our Chapter President, cweishaupt@charter.net.  A communications is sent to members before each meeting by e-mail and/or regular mail.
