Spring Student Conference Scholastic Book Fair

One of the projects of the IEA-R mentor program is to run the Scholastic Book Fair for the Students during their Fall and Spring Conferences each year. This enables the students to attend the various workshops. It also gives the mentors a chance to visit with other mentors and meet their mentees who might be attending the conference.

Another way for retirees to help is to contribute to the Retired Raffle (shown below). The students use a ticket raffle to acquire used materials donated by retired teachers. Each year, retired teachers can donate these materials by dropping them off at the Springfield Office (PDC) or contacting mentor program coordinator, Linda Walcher, lindyloo50@aol.com, who will help in arranging pick-up of your materials.
