IEA-Retired Members
Currently, there are 7000+ IEA-Retired members. Almost all Retired members were formerly employed in a public school district, either as certified or ESP employees. The vast majority were IEA-NEA members during their working years. IEA-Retired chapter members want to remain connected with IEA. They want to work toward protecting their pension and benefits and to continue to make a difference in public education! |
Member Dues
When an IEA member retires they will no longer be an IEA member unless they purchase an IEA/NEA-Retired Lifetime membership. The dues for this membership is $250.00 as of Sept. 1, 2006. It is a one-time charge and will never cost the member another dollar in membership fees. IEA members also have the option of pre-retiring and paying for their lifetime membership in a one time payment or in 3 increments over the course of a year. | |
