Workshop and Consultation Services
Research personnel assist the UniServ Director in the development and presentation of School Finance and Research Services workshops. Help or information is provided on specific issues regarding budgets, reports, audits, state aid claims, and districts comparisons.
District Financial Profile (DFP)
An information profile is available for every school district in Illinois. The profile contains five years of historic data for each district and compares this district to a user defined group of similar districts. To request a District Financial Profile for a district, please email Evelyn Smith at evelyn.smith@ieanea.org with the district being requested.
Survey Services
Website Surveys
An Advanced Online Survey Computer Program is available with a user id and password. This program can be as simple or complex as you require. You can create libraries of questions that can be used for bargaining surveys, working conditions surveys, district restructuring surveys or for any other information you need. The survey can be sent to members by email or embedded in a website. Either way, the data from the survey is immediately compiled and available for use. Multiple question formats are available for your survey and include: yes/no, true/false, fill in the blank, multiple answers per row, and open ended. Surveys can be stored and used in longevity studies of your local membership. Contact your UniServ Director to schedule a training or to request a login and password. There is also an Online Survey Tool User’s Manual available from the Research Department.
NEA produced surveys are available through Research Services.

- School Restructure Survey – allows a local to assess the readiness of their members to engage in significant school district change
