The IEA-NEA Field Services Department provides direct and expert assistance and support to individual members to local affiliates. This assistance is provided by a field staff of UniServ Directors, full-time organizers, and associate staff located in regional offices throughout Illinois. These services are principally bargaining assistance and other technical assistance to local association leaders regarding grievance and employee rights adjudication, crisis preparation, school reform uses, communications, and community relations.Field services staff is also the link between members or leaders and other direct assistance provided by other departments within the organization.
