IEA President Ken Swanson responds to the Chicago Tribune Editorial Series in this OP-ED.  The Chicago Tribune performed an important public service with From Here to Excellence, the extensively researched and extremely well-written editorial series on education funding.

The Chicago Tribune has started a nine-part editorial series on the Illinois public school funding crisis called From Here to Excellence. This series has the potential to help funding reform become the main focus of the spring session of the Illinois General Assembly.
