This predominately low income school has been able to put into practice what we all know should work:
1) Put the interests of the students first...if they don't know you care, they won't be interested in what you know.
2) Students must be in class with inspirational teachers.
3) All teachers can be successful sometimes; they are more successful if they communicate and work together.
4) All organizations need not only a good leader (facilitator) but also a staff that is predominately responsive, responsible people.
5) Our community of learners must embrace the larger community as well if we are to change the culture.

A BIG thanks to Bob Ray and all from the IEA who helped get out our message of success. Student achievement and progress is possible when admin and teachers work together. The teachers working environment is the students learning environment.
