About
The IEA Professional Development Center, a 32,000 square foot facility with 10 state of the art meeting rooms was constructed to meet the professional development needs of Illinois Education Association members. Meeting space and equipment is available to Association members for official Association functions free of charge. Public and private organizations are welcome to use the PDC facilities for very reasonable rates.
The Center is located on the southwest side of Springfield, Illinois with easy access to interstate highways leading to Chicago, St. Louis, Jacksonville, and Champaign. A number of hotels and restaurants are located within close proximity.
Reservations
To use the IEA Professional Development Center, meeting planners must complete a “Contract For Event” form. To ensure that the Center can meet the needs of your group, requesting parties should confirm their meeting requirements and catering needs no later than 7 days prior to the function date. Changes in catering or meeting room arrangements within 72 hours may result in additional charges.
