To address the inequity in school funding by seeking a systemic change that ensures an adequate, reliable and
sustainable funding source for public education in Illinois.
Strategy
Increase local leader, member and staff awareness and involve our locals in taking action and endorsing
legislation that supports the five IIE principles.
Currently, SB 2288 is the bill that best addresses our needs.
