GPAs meet at the state capitol
Grassroots Political Activists and their GO-Team members met Feb. 3-4 for a legislative update, preview of the 2012 elections and a simulation that followed a bill through the committee process. The GPAs role-played as members of various advocacy groups and testified in a mock committee at the state capitol. After committee, GPAs and their teams enjoyed special access to the Senate floor and heard from Sens.
